Glen Berger and Ryan Cavan began working together in 2013 while Glen was managing partner for the Saskatchewan office of a national firm.
By 2020, Glen and Ryan determined that together they could provide clients with a boutique firm experience that was highly personalized and client-focused. Thus, Berger Cavan Group LLP was formed, eliminating the distraction of global hierarchy’s requirements and allowing the partners to grow their existing team of accountants and specialists with exclusive focus on clients and the issues that affect them.

Glen Berger, FCPA, FCA
Glen is a partner at Berger Cavan Group. He serves his clients in the areas of audit, accounting, income tax compliance, corporate reorganizations, trusts and estates, and succession planning. Glen has practiced public accounting since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1983, and today he is among the most highly qualified experts in the province. He serves a wide variety of enterprise clients with concentration in residential construction and health care professionals.
Client assignments encompass business and tax advisory, sales tax planning and recovery, business startups, valuation, investments and divestitures. Glen has conducted commercial arbitration work, and is a member of the Foundation for Administrative Justice. His postgraduate work in board governance was completed at the Johnson Shoyama School of Public Policy.
Glen has served on numerous boards of directors, notably Saskatchewan Science Centre, University of Regina, Friends of the RCMP Heritage Centre, and Taekwondo Canada.

Ryan Cavan, CPA, CA
Ryan is a partner of Berger Cavan Group. He serves his clients in the areas of assurance, accounting, and income tax compliance. Ryan has practiced public accounting since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2011. He serves a wide variety of enterprise clients with concentration in not-for-profit, healthcare professionals, and agriculture.
Ryan’s service to clients encompass audit, business and tax advisory, business acquisition and sales, and business startup.
His contributions to the community include serving on the board of YMCA Regina where Ryan is Chair of the Finance Committee.
